1-2-1 or group classes?
1-2-1s are are suitable for owners and puppies/dogs at all stages.
You may still trying to decide on what breed of dog to get or whether to get a rescue or a puppy. I am able to help you with all sorts of queries or decisions. From teaching your pup more advanced life skills and general obedience to problems you may be experiencing.
I recommend 1-2-1 training if:
Your puppy is too young for our classes.
You are worried your dog may be too old for classes.
You will struggle to get to a regular class.
You have specific issues or problems you need help with.
Your dog or puppy is not comfortable around people and/or other dogs.
You don’t have transport or are stuck at home.
These are the types of things I can help you with :
Stress free walking/no pull walking.
What you need to train your puppy in the first weeks.
Biting or mouthing when they're excited.
Crate training & sleep routines.
Basic training for puppies and dogs on how to live with the family.
Recall – improving those listening ears when you’re out or even when you want them to come back in from the garden.
Learning to be comfortable when left alone.
Groom your dog easily.
Enjoy stress-free vet visits.
Resource guarding – teach your dog not to guard 'precious' items.
Help shy or unconfident dogs to cope better .
Enjoy life without being overexcited or over aroused.
Its always best to book an initial phone call with me to chat about what you would like to achieve and what is best for you and your dog.
Group classes are great if you want your dog to socialise and your dog is able to cope in a group. Please see my blog on when to choose group classes.
